JAXA/The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency is the Japanese national aerospace and space agency.
JAXA’s Tsukuba Space Center (TKSC) located in Tsukuba Science City is a consolidated operations facility with world-class equipment and testing facilities.
TKSC offers self-guided/guided tours of its facilities and exhibitions. At the Space Dome, you can take a close look at many space-related exhibits including full-scale satellite models, real rocket engines, and a life-size model of the “Kibo,” the Japanese Experiment Module for the International Space Station. Also, a guided tour takes you to view Mission Control Room and Astronaut Training Facilities.
