Olivia Newton-John & Andy Gibb - Rest Your Love On Me (UNICEF Concert, 1979 | Solid Gold, 1981)

What a heartfelt touching performance of this beautiful song! This video features Olivia Newton-John and Andy Gibb performing Rest Your Love On Me in the UNICEF Concert on January 9, 1979 and on the Solid Gold TV show aired on September 12, 1981. Olivia and Andy's Rest Your Love On Me is so beautiful and impressive with their voices and chemistry coming together perfect in harmony and feelings. RIP Olivia & Andy. You both are dearly missed.

Olivia, Andy, Bee Gees, ABBA and other artists took part in The Music for UNICEF Concert, which was a benefit concert of popular music held in the United Nations General Assembly in New York City on January 9, 1979. The concert was broadcast internationally to raise funds for UNICEF. Olivia and Andy sang two songs each in the concert: Rest Your Love On Me (duet by Olivia and Andy), The Key (solo by Olivia) and I Go For You (solo by Andy). In 1981, Olivia also appeared on the Solid Gold TV show, singing Rest Your Love On Me with Andy once again, who hosted Solid Gold in 1981-1982. Olivia was appointed as a U.N. ambassador on the environment in 1990, serving a two-year term in the post designed to help promote U.N. goals and activities in dealing with environmental issues.

Rest Your Love on Me was originally written and sung by Barry Gibb in 1976 and recorded by the Bee Gees for the B-side of their US No. 1 hit "Too Much Heaven". Andy Gibb recorded Rest Your Love on Me as a duet with Olivia Newton-John for his 1980 album After Dark. Barry Gibb also recorded the song with Olivia on his 2021 album Greenfields, which is one of Olivia’s last recordings before her passing in 2022. Since Olivia had previously recorded Rest Your Love on Me with Barry's younger brother Andy for his After Dark album, it was in memory of Andy, who died in 1988. You can watch Barry and Olivia's version of Rest Your Love On Me at the link below. Also, The Key (by Olivia) and I Go For You (by Andy) performed in the UNICEF concert.

Olivia Newton-John - A Little More Love (1978, Totally Hot) | *Special edit

Olivia rocks! TOTALLY HOT! 🔥 *This is sort of extended version with a bit tweaked intro, also live performances edited in. The album Totally Hot is totally hot with great songs hinting Olivia's transformation by expanding her repertoire of songs and style. Also, it expresses Olivia's growing through her vocal range and strength. The song has subtle, and yet captivating sounds and effects of the electric guitar as part of the layers played into the melody. VERY COOL!

A Little More Love (written and produced by John Farrar) was recorded in the studio in Los Angeles, CA and released as the lead single from the album Totally Hot in October 1978, becoming a worldwide hit. The song reached #3 in US, #2 in Canada, #4 in UK and #9 in Australia at its peak position on hit charts 1978 - 1979. It also became a #1 single in Israel. Two other great hits on the album are Deeper Than The Night and Totally Hot.

Totally Hot.... https://youtu.be/ySB5J4RaiZQ?si=gs3L0vmtvss_pSDk

Totally Hot is Olivia's tenth studio album, released in November 1978. It became her first top-ten album on the Billboard 200 chart since Have You Never Been Mellow (1975). Dressed on the album cover all in leather, it mirrors Sandy's transformation in Grease played by Olivia. Totally Hot was her most successful album at that time, and became her first album to receive a Platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Olivia Newton-John - Stronger Than Before (2005) | *Olivia's Great Walk To Beijing 08, Wellness Walk

Stronger Than Before is Olivia's twentieth studio album. It was originally released in August, 2005 and the re-released of the album (vinyls/CDs) is to take place on October 10, 2025, celebrating its 20 year anniversary. Stronger Than Before is an album of inspiration, encouragement and hope to women and those who have dealt with cancer.

Olivia's Great Walk To Beijing 2008 (2:28) Olivia and her team walked 228 kilometers along the Great Wall of China, which was an effort to raise funds for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre. Olivia said:

"People are asking me why do you want to walk 200 kilometers along the Great Wall of China, up 40 degree gradients, across mountain ranges and through dust storms of the Gobi Desert. The answer is that this journey – this million steps towards the cure for cancer – started for me 15 years ago, when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. That life-changing experience has given me some true understanding and compassion for others walking that path – and I want to help. That's why I am so excited to be leading this walk on the Great Wall to raise money and awareness for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre – these 21 days on the Wall will be another part of my own journey."

Olivia's Walk and Run for Wellness 2025 This year Olivia's Walk and Run for Wellness will be held in one of Olivia's favorite spots in Melbourne — the Tan and the beautiful Alexandra Gardens. Olivia would want it to be a day of joy and positivity, so invite your friends, family and coworkers and together, show your support for Olivia and those with cancer. Not in Melbourne? No worries. All over the world people are coming together to honour Olivia and her work. You can sign up to the virtual event and virtually participate in Olivia's Walk and Run for Wellness by simply walking 5km or hosting your own event wherever you are in the world.
